Elastic Band Strap
Elastic Band Strap has obvious lengthwise, parallel ridges. Those ridges is the Rubber thread in the core, which makes the elastic has more “grip” but they also mean that elastic will narrow when stretched. This is the biggest difference from other elastic.
This heavy stretch knit elastic is designed to be a bit stiffer and offer more "kick" to its stretch than other elastics. it offers a stiff, strong stretch and can be used on heavier fabrics. The elastic will not narrow when stretched making it perfect for exposed waistbands on a gathered skirt or pants.
It is also great for cuff bands and jacket waistbands.It can be used for waist bands, gloves, suspenders, belts, face mask straps, sporting goods, sweat bands, horse blankets and elastic pockets, among others.
This elastic has already been preshrunk. It is machine washable and dryable, but do not expose to temperatures that exceed 200 degrees.Composition 85% Polyester and 15% Natural Latex Rubber.
It's made of latex thread wrapped with polyester DTY yarn. It's widely used for making fabric, wigs, cuff, jewelry making, beading,DIY crafting and scrapbooking.
